Baseball Recap: Scotts Hill Comes Up Short

Scotts Hill fell victim to McNairy Central and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They fell just short of the Bobcats by a score of 1-0. The Lions have struggled against the Bobcats recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Scotts Hill got a good showing from Jonas Howard, who pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. That's the first time Howard hasn't allowed a single earned run since back in March.

Scotts Hill's loss dropped their record down to 9-15-1. As for McNairy Central, their win bumped their record up to 16-11.

Scotts Hill does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for McNairy Central, they will host Lexington at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
