Basketball Recap: KIPP Atlanta Collegiate Now 8-1 over Last Nine Games

KIPP Atlanta Collegiate hadn't done well against Drew Charter recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The KIPP Atlanta Collegiate Warriors walked away with a 65-55 victory over Drew Charter. Given the Warriors' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 79th, while Drew Charter are ranked 269th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

KIPP Atlanta Collegiate's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Chane Bynum led the charge by dropping a double-double on 17 points and ten rebounds. Bynum is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played. Laqwaun Morgan was another key player, putting up eight points and ten boards.
