Volleyball Recap: Hollywood Takes a Loss

If Hollywood was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Roybal last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Hollywood lost 3-0 to the Belmont Sentinels on Wednesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Sentinels this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 on March 3rd.

Hollywood was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-16, 25-22.

Hollywood's loss was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Belmont, their record is now 4-6.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Hollywood will take on rival Bernstein at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Belmont is set to challenge their familiar foe Mendez at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
