Durango extended their winning streak to 12 games thanks to a huge performance from Tyler Trujillo. The Durango Demons blew past the Grand Junction Central Warriors 48-18 on Saturday thanks in part to Trujillo, who went 5 of 11 en route to 13 points. That's the most points she has posted since back in December of 2023.

Another player making a difference was Lilly Fitzpatrick, who posted seven points. She has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times she's played.

Durango pushed their record up to 13-2 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.2 points per game. As for Grand Junction Central, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-9.

Durango will challenge Montrose at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Grand Junction Central, they will square off against Fruita Monument at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
