Basketball Recap: Lincoln Prep's Luck Changes for the Better on Tuesday

Lincoln Prep had to endure a nine-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against the Haynesville Golden Tornado by a score of 29-22 on Tuesday. The Panthers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Golden Tornado, too.

Lincoln Prep's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-12. As for Haynesville, their loss was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-13.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lincoln Prep will host Ringgold at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Lincoln Prep is facing Ringgold at the right time seeing as Ringgold is stuck on an eight-game losing streak. Haynesville has already played their next match (against Jonesboro-Hodge), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
