It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Izard County had no problem doing just that on Friday. They secured a 64-58 W over the Marshall Bobcats. The victory was familiar territory for the Cougars, who have now won 15 matchups in a row.

Izard County pushed their record up to 23-4 with the win, which was their 11th straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.9 points over those games. As for Marshall, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 15-12.

Izard County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 59-35 victory against Tuckerman on the 22nd. Marshall does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
