Alfred-Almond waltzed into their contest on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They were the clear victors by a 22-9 margin over the Hammondsport Lakers. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Eagles also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2024.

Alfred-Almond pushed their record up to 6-5 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 20.3 runs over those games. As for Hammondsport, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Coming up, Alfred-Almond will head out to take on Andover at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Hammondsport, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Mount Morris at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
