Recap: Worth County Tigers vs. Princeton Tigers

This season hasn't been kind to the Worth County Tigers, who are still winless after their 13th game. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 70-44 walloping at the hands of Princeton on Tuesday. Worth County has not had much luck with Princeton recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

When it comes to explaining why Worth County lost, one person who can't be blamed is Kynah Steele. Despite the final result, she scored 21 points along with nine rebounds and five steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Steele has scored all season. Brooklyn Richardson was another key contributor, scoring six points along with two steals.

Worth County's loss was their fourth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 0-13. As for Princeton, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-3.

Worth County will look to defend their home court on Friday against North Harrison at 6:00 p.m. North Harrison comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 25 points in their last five games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse. Princeton will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against St. Joseph Christian at 6:00 p.m. on January 19th.
