Softball Recap: Scott Comes Up Short

Scott lost to Notre Dame Academy two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Eagles lost 7-1 to the Pandas. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Scott saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lainey Jones, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

Scott's loss dropped their record down to 7-19. As for Notre Dame Academy, they moved to 10-11 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Coming up, Scott will head out on the road to square off against Grant County at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Notre Dame Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Bishop Brossart at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
