Volleyball Recap: Mullen Broncos vs. North Central Knights
Mullen lost to North Central back in September of 2021, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Mullen Broncos had just enough and edged the North Central Knights out 2-1.
Mullen had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The final score came out to 21-25, 25-13, 25-17.
Allie Boyer was the offensive standout of the contest as she had 11 digs.
Mullen's victory bumped their record up to 9-7. As for North Central, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mullen will be staying on the road on Monday to face off against Anselmo-Merna at 6:50 p.m. As for North Central, they will square off against Valentine on Tuesday.
