Volleyball Recap: Covington Takes a Loss

After flying high against Miami Valley last Tuesday, Covington came back down to earth. The Buccs fell 3-1 to the Mississinawa Valley Blackhawks on Monday. The Buccs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Blackhawks apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2023.

Covington actually scored more points across those four sets (89-88), but sadly they still had to settle for second. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 13-25, 25-19, 25-22.

Covington's loss dropped their record down to 18-6. As for Mississinawa Valley, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 20-4.

Covington does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mississinawa Valley, they will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Middletown Christian at 1:00 p.m.
