With a playoff win on the line, Sierra Canyon rose to the challenge on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Marymount Sailors 3-2. The Trailblazers are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 16 straight.

Sierra Canyon took Marymount into a fifth set where they got it done with a six-point win. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 26-28, 24-26, 25-22, 15-9.

Sierra Canyon can attribute much of their success to Maddie Zaragoza, who had 14 digs and four assists.

Sierra Canyon's win bumped their record up to 38-3. As for Marymount, their defeat ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 37-6.

Sierra Canyon wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Mater Dei on the 8th. As for Marymount, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Cathedral Catholic on the 12th.
