Soccer Game Preview: Gorham vs. Lisbon

The Gorham Huskies will head out on the road to challenge the Lisbon Panthers at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Gorham's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

On Friday, Gorham came up short against Littleton and fell 3-1.

Meanwhile, Lisbon entered their tilt with Groveton on Wednesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Eagles 6-1. Lisbon might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by three goals or more this season.

Lisbon's win bumped their record up to 10-4. As for Gorham, their loss dropped their record down to 12-3-2.

Everything went Gorham's way against Lisbon in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as Gorham made off with an 8-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Huskies since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
