Preview: Robert Lee Steers vs. Veribest Falcons
Robert Lee has been on the road for two straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Veribest Falcons at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Thursday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Robert Lee beat Bronte 41-36.
Meanwhile, Veribest waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with four straight wins but they left with five. They snuck past Brookesmith with a 42-38 win.
Robert Lee pushed their record up to 18-5 with that victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.8 points per game. As for Veribest, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 11-13 record this season.
Robert Lee barely slipped by Veribest in their previous matchup back in February of 2023, winning 26-25. Will Robert Lee repeat their success, or does Veribest have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
