Recap: Pikes Peak Christian Eagles vs. Cripple Creek-Victor Pioneers
Make it eight blowout wins for the Pikes Peak Christian Eagles this season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat Cripple Creek-Victor 74-26 at home. The victory was nothing new for Pikes Peak Christian as they're now sitting on four straight.
Eddie Harmon continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 19 points along with five rebounds and five steals. He hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Noah Sachsenmaier, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds.
Cripple Creek-Victor's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Luciano Varas, who scored 11 points. Tony Woods was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Pikes Peak Christian has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. As for Cripple Creek-Victor, their loss dropped their record down to 5-8.
Pikes Peak Christian will look to defend their home court on Friday against Hanover at 8:00 p.m. As for Cripple Creek-Victor, they will head out on the road to face off against Kiowa at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
