Baseball Recap: Roncalli Takes a Loss

Roncalli came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 17-2 to the New Holstein Huskies. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Huskies this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-5 back in April.

Roncalli saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sawyer Van Drisse, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

Roncalli's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for New Holstein, their record now sits at 8-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Roncalli will take on Brillion at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Lions will roll in looking for their 13th straight win, something the Jets surely won't give up without a fight. As for New Holstein, they will challenge Valders at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
