Lisbon snaps five-game streak of losses at home

Recap: Lisbon Broncos vs. LaMoure/Litchville-Marion Loboes

The Lisbon Broncos scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against LaMoure/Litchville-Marion and snuck past 56-53. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Lisbon.

Among those leading the charge was Emerson Schultz, who scored 17 points along with eight rebounds. The matchup was her fourth in a row with at least ten points. Kaia Sweet was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with nine assists and five rebounds.

Lisbon's win ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-4. As for LaMoure/Litchville-Marion, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lisbon will square off against Wahpeton at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Wahpeton is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak. LaMoure/Litchville-Marion's road trip will continue as they head out to face Edgeley/Kulm/Montpelier at 7:30 p.m. on December 21st. Edgeley/Kulm/Montpelier is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling.
