Baseball Recap: Colo-NESCO Comes Up Short

Colo-NESCO was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 9-1 to the Janesville Wildcats. The Royals were not able to make up for their defeat to the Wildcats from their previous meeting back in June of 2024.

Colo-NESCO's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Janesville, they pushed their record up to 5-2 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Coming up, Colo-NESCO will head out to square off against Clarksville at 5:15 p.m. on Monday. The Indians have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.83 runs per game on average), something the Royals will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Janesville, they will take on Baxter at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Baxter will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Janesville surely won't give up without a fight.
