Recap: James Irwin Jaguars vs. Thomas MacLaren School Highlanders
The James Irwin Jaguars lost against the Thomas MacLaren School Highlanders back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. James Irwin had to suffer through a rough 48-20 loss at the hands of Thomas MacLaren School. James Irwin was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 30-8.
Romina Lozoya was James Irwin's leading scorer, having posted eight points. Lozoya also led the team in rebounds with 12.
Alana Trujillo took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with three assists.
This is the second loss in a row for James Irwin and nudges their season record down to 0-2. As for Thomas MacLaren School, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
James Irwin will be playing at home against Dolores Huerta Prep at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Thomas MacLaren School, they will head out on the road to face off against Cripple Creek-Victor at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
