Soccer Game Preview: Rio Rancho vs. Cibola + How To Watch

Rio Rancho is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of New Mexico's top teams: Volcano Vista, who was ranked sixth at the time (Rio Rancho was ranked fourth). The Rams' defense stepped up to hand the Hawks a 2-0 shutout on Friday. The game was the first time Rio Rancho have beaten Volcano Vista on their pitch since September 25, 2021.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Cibola challenged Piedra Vista on Saturday. The Cougars lost 7-1 to the Panthers. Cibola have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Rio Rancho's victory bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Cibola, they now have a losing record of 5-6.
