Football Recap: Yarmouth Beats Lake Region for Their Third Straight Win

Yarmouth waltzed into their game on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They strolled past the Lake Region Lakers with points to spare, taking the game 36-22. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Yarmouth's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ignatius (Iggy) McGrath, who threw for 216 yards and three TDs. (Iggy) McGrath is crushing it when it comes to passing touchdowns: he's passed for at least three every time he's taken the field this season. Adam Pelotte was (Iggy) McGrath's top target, picking up 62 receiving yards and one touchdown, while also punching in one rushing score.

Yarmouth's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Lake Region, their loss was their first of the season and also makes their record 3-1.
