Soccer Recap: Pebblebrook Comes Up Short

Pebblebrook was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Douglas County Tigers. The Falcons were not able to make up for their defeat to the Tigers from their previous meeting back in March of 2018.

Pebblebrook's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Douglas County, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

When Pebblebrook and Douglas County next hit the pitch, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Pebblebrook will try to stop Paulding County's four-game winning streak when they meet at 7:45 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Douglas County will face off against Chapel Hill and their three-game winning streak at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
