Basketball Recap: Tuesday's Win Is Archbold's Seventh in Last Eight Outings

Archbold won the last time they faced Bryan and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Archbold Blue Streaks blew past the Bryan Golden Bears 57-32. Given the Blue Streaks' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 194th, while the Golden Bears are ranked 486th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Archbold is also on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.3 points per game. As for Bryan, their defeat was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Archbold will venture away from home to take on Delta at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Archbold is coming into the game hot, having won their last five games. As for Bryan, they are taking a road trip to square off against Patrick Henry at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Patrick Henry will roll in looking for their 12th straight victory, something Bryan surely won't give up without a fight.
