Basketball Recap: Ridgeland Piles Up the Points Against Ringgold + How To Watch

It was a proper cat-fight when Ridgeland duked it out with Ringgold on Saturday. The Panthers simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Tigers 79-49. Fans of the Panthers have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Ridgeland was led to victory by Jordyn Thomas and Jamiah Lewis. Thomas dropped a double-double with 24 points and 13 steals, while Lewis went 10-for-22 to rack up 24 points in addition to six rebounds and five steals. Lewis' evening made it seven games in a row in which she has scored at least 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Sha Elliott, who posted 11 points along with seven boards and three steals.

Ridgeland was working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in November of 2024.

The victory was the third in a row for Ridgeland, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Ridgeland has already played their next contest, a 61-48 win against Gordon Lee on the 24th. Ringgold has also already played their next matchup (against Chattanooga Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
