Basketball Recap: Tuesday's Victory Is South Carroll's Sixth in Last Eight Outings

South Carroll's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 62-37 margin over the Winters Mill Falcons. The Cavaliers pushed the score to 53-27 by the end of the third, a deficit the Falcons cut but never quite recovered from.

Several Falcons players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Nat Curley, who posted nine points and six rebounds. The dominant performance gave Curley a new career-high in boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Brett Kuhlmann, who scored seven points and five rebounds.

South Carroll is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. As for Winters Mill, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-12.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games.
