Football Recap: Fitch Piles Up the Points Against Windham

Fitch got themselves on the board against Windham on Friday, but Windham never followed suit. They really took it to the Whippets for the full four quarters, racking up a 28-0 victory. The Falcons pushed the score to 21-0 by the end of the third, a deficit the Whippets had little chance of recovering from.

Fitch didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Oliver Level and Mark McBride.

Fitch has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 15 points this season. As for Windham, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fitch will head out to challenge Amity Regional at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Windham, they will venture away from home to take on Bacon Academy/Lyman Memorial at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. This will be the Whippets' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
