Basketball Recap: Oblong/Hutsonville/Palestine vs. Dieterich Movin Maroons

Oblong/Hutsonville/Palestine pushed their score all the way to 66 on Monday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 77-66 to Dieterich. Oblong/Hutsonville/Palestine has not had much luck with the Movin Maroons recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

Dieterich's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Lucas Westendorf, who shot 5-for-7 from beyond the arc and dropped a double-double on 34 points and ten rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Westendorf has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Caleb Gephart, who scored 25 points along with five rebounds and five steals.
