Kingston has gone 8-2 against Warwick recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Tigers will venture away from home to face off against the Wildcats at 11:00 a.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Last Friday, Kingston came up short against Arlington and fell 8-4.

Kingston saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jake Martino, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. Another was Matt Montano, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Warwick and Monroe-Woodbury, and Monroe-Woodbury kept the tradition alive. The Wildcats fell just short of the Crusaders by a score of 4-2 on Monday. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Crusaders recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Warwick also got a good showing from Thomas Ranaudo, who didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched.

Kingston now has a losing record of 0-1-1. As for Warwick, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.

Kingston came out on top in a nail-biter against Warwick when the teams last played back in May of 2024, sneaking past 2-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
