Football Game Recap: Bastrop vs. Richwood

The last time they encountered one another, Bastrop outplayed Richwood 8-42. This time around? Get ready for this: Richwood found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 8-42 punch to the gut against Bastrop on Friday. If you felt some intense deja vu just there, it's no doubt because Richwood and Bastrop finished with exactly the same score the last time they met.

Richwood are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-5. The win bumped Bastrop's record up to 5-0.

Next week Richwood take on Red River at 7:00 PM. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous match, so their meeting could be a low-scoring affair. As for Bastrop, they will face off against Holy Savior Menard. Both teams seek to continue their momentum from their previous wins.
