Softball Recap: Wagner Snaps Seven-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Wagner dropped their record down to 14-4 on Sunday, which also ended the team's seven-game streak of wins on the road. They lost 10-2 to the Tottenville Pirates. Having soared to a lofty 16 runs in the game before, the Falcons couldn't push the score so high this time.

As for Tottenville, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 20-3. The result was nothing new for the Pirates, who have now won 16 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

For Tottenville's part, Nina Rivera and Amanda Reyes did most of the damage at the plate: Rivera went 2-for-4 with one home run and two runs, while Reyes went 1-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. Juilianna Blann was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

As of now, neither Wagner nor Tottenville have any future games scheduled.
