Volleyball Recap: Plainfield East Takes a Loss

Plainfield East lost against Oswego back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Bengals took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers. The Bengals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Plainfield East may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored 17 points in every single set they played. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-17.

Plainfield East's loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Oswego, they pushed their record up to 15-9 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Looking ahead, Plainfield East will take on Waterloo in a tournament on Friday. As for Oswego, they will head out on the road to take on Oswego East at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
