 Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah had to endure  a  three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. Everything went their way against the St. Lawrence Seminary Hilltoppers on Friday as the Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah Resorters made off with  a  9-2 victory. Considering Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah has won three contests by more than six  runs this season, Friday's  blowout was nothing new.
  Cole Wagner was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out 12 batters over  seven innings while giving up just one earned  (and one unearned) run off   three  hits. Wagner has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run in three consecutive pitching appearances. Wagner was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run while  getting on base  in four of his five plate appearances.
 In other batting news,  Evan Roth was  excellent,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 3-for-4.  Makaio Lueck was another key contributor,  scoring a  run and  stealing two bases while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances.
 The  win  got Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah back to even at 4-4.
 Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah will be playing in front of their home fans against Reedsville at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday. Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 8.7  runs per game  this season. As for St. Lawrence Seminary, they will head out on the road to  take on  St. Anthony at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
