While Exeter Township's win against Muhlenberg wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Eagles won by a run and slipped past the Muhls 5-4. Winning may never get old, but the Eagles sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Cheyenne Boyles made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching five innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off six hits. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than one walk in eight consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two RBI.

In other batting news, Jillian Warner was excellent, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3. Jadee Ruiz-Ravelo was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

Exeter Township hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They are 2-1 when they post two or more strikeouts.

Exeter Township's victory bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Muhlenberg, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 3-6.
