Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Manteo). Everything went their way against the Pasquotank County Panthers on Monday as Manteo made off with a 10-1 victory. It was an even better day for Abbi Calvio as she scored four goals for her team.

Manteo has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 25 goals over those four games. Pasquotank County is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Manteo will welcome Northeastern at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Manteo will be up against Northeastern's rather soft defense (which has allowed five goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Pasquotank County, they will be playing at home against Currituck County at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Currituck County will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more goals each match than the last.
