Softball Recap: Bartlett Finds Home Field Redemption Against Leicester

There's no place like home for Bartlett, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. They came out on top against the Leicester Wolverines by a score of 8-3 on Wednesday. This was payback for the Indians, who suffered a 17-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

Dakota Vaudreuil made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out 16 batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off nine hits. Vaudreuil was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 1-for-3.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Taryn Gerber, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with three RBI and one triple. Hope Cooper was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
