Baseball Recap: Golden West Comes Up Short

Golden West's last matchup with Centennial could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Tuesday. The Trailblazers lost 10-3 to the Golden Hawks. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Trailblazers of the 8-6 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Golden West saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Marcus Garcia, who went 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

This is the second loss in a row for Golden West and nudges their season record down to 8-10. As for Centennial, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season.

Golden West wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 6-0 victory against Bakersfield on the 15th. As for Centennial, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Mt. Whitney on the 15th.
