Football Recap: Calhoun County Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Calhoun County can now relate to. They took a 12-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the C.A. Johnson Hornets on Friday. Having soared to a lofty 35 points in the game before, the Saints' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

The critical scores for C.A. Johnson came from Carter Bennett and Jeremiah Knightner.

Calhoun County's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for C.A. Johnson, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-5 record this season.
