Basketball Recap: High Tech CV Comes Up Short

If High Tech CV was riding high fresh off their 61-40 takedown of El Cajon Valley on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bruins had to suffer through an 85-56 loss at the hands of the Southwest SD Raiders. The Bruins have struggled against the Raiders recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Noah Soltero had another great game (as he tends to do), putting up 38 points for Southwest SD. Those 38 points gave Soltero a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Elijah Traylor, who posted 14 points.

High Tech CV's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Southwest SD, their win bumped their record up to 8-4.

Coincidentally, High Tech CV and Southwest SD will both be playing Granite Hills the next time they take the court. The Bruins will head out to face the Eagles at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, while the Raiders will play them later in the day, at 6:30 p.m.
