Basketball Recap: Paris Skates Past Bonham with Ease

Paris had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 23.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They blew past the Bonham Warriors, posting an 81-50 victory. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten contests by 21 points or more this season.

Despite the loss, Bonham still got an impressive performance from Heath Brown, who went 7 of 12 on his way to 17 points and seven rebounds. What's more, Brown also racked up three assists, the most he's had since back in December of 2024. Brae Gorman was another key player, putting up seven points.

Paris' win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-6. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.8 points per game. As for Bonham, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 14-12 record this season.

Paris will head out to challenge Pleasant Grove at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Paris has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Bonham, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Pittsburg at 6:45 p.m. Bonham is facing Pittsburg at the right time seeing as Pittsburg is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
