Baseball Recap: First Baptist Christian Comes Up Short

First Baptist Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the John Paul the Great Academy Guardians, falling 18-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Guardians this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 20-0 back in February.

First Baptist Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for John Paul the Great Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

Coming up, First Baptist Christian will square off against Acadiana Christian at 6:00 p.m. on March 25th. Acadiana Christian knows how to get runs on the board -- the squad has finished with ten runs or more in their past four games -- so hopefully First Baptist Christian likes a good challenge. As for John Paul the Great Academy, they will face off against Christian Home Educators Fellowship at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
