Basketball Game Preview: Polk County Wolverines vs. Berea Bulldogs

The Polk County Wolverines and the Berea Bulldogs will round out the year against one another at at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. Polk County has now lost seven straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since November 19.

Polk County is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 63 points two weeks ago, they were much more limited against Hendersonville last Friday. They were dealt a 79-29 loss at the hands of the Bearcats. The match marked the Wolverines' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, Berea was fully in charge on Thursday, breezing past Carolina Academy 73-44. That 29 point margin sets a new team best for the Bulldogs this season.

Berea is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 5-3 record this season. As for Polk County, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-7.
