Heritage Christian is 8-1 against Gilpin County since January of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. Last Tuesday, Heritage Christian got the win against Flatirons Academy by a conclusive 52-32. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Gilpin County earned a 42-35 victory over West Grand on Tuesday.

Heritage Christian is also on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 24.5 points per game. As for Gilpin County, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-2.

Heritage Christian strolled past Gilpin County in their previous matchup back in February of 2024 by a score of 58-39. The rematch might be a little tougher for Heritage Christian since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
