Soccer Game Preview: Colony vs. Dimond

Colony is 1-9 against Dimond since March of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Knights will host the Lynx at 5:30 p.m.

If Colony beats Dimond with five goals on Tuesday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two matchups with that exact score. Everything went the Knights' way against Bartlett on Saturday as they made off with a 5-2 victory. The win continues a trend for Colony in their matchups with Bartlett: they've now won seven in a row.

Colony hit Bartlett with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Avrie Geigerich (2), Ava Chud, Asha Gerteisen, and Alessandra Alberton.

Meanwhile, for the first time this season, Dimond was forced to settle for a draw. They and South Anchorage finished up their contest with a 1-1 draw on Tuesday.

Colony's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. With that draw, Dimond's record moves to 1-0-1.
