Volleyball Recap: Kansas School for the Deaf Jackrabbits vs. Wisconsin School for the Deaf Firebirds
Kansas School for the Deaf lost against Wisconsin School for the Deaf back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Jackrabbits fell just short of the Firebirds by a score of 2-1.
Kansas School for the Deaf's offense was headlined by Maria Lawrence and Allie Brown, who picked up two kills apiece. They got some help from Sophia D'Angelo and her six assists. Lawrence was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.
Kansas School for the Deaf's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Wisconsin School for the Deaf, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.
