Lakewood's defeat dropped their record down to 7-4-1. As for Cherry Creek, their victory bumped their record up to 13-0.

Lakewood has already played their next matchup, a 0-0 draw against Arvada West on the 14th. As for Cherry Creek, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 4-1 win against Cherokee Trail on the 11th.
