Basketball Game Preview: North Missouri HomeSchool Knights vs. Christian Fellowship

The North Missouri HomeSchool Knights will head out on the road to face off against Christian Fellowship at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. North Missouri HomeSchool knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Christian Fellowship likes a good challenge.

On Monday, North Missouri HomeSchool was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 63-57 to Mid-Missouri HomeSchool.

Meanwhile, Christian Fellowship strolled past Wright City with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 61-47. Given Christian Fellowship's advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 189th, while Wright City is ranked 486th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Christian Fellowship found their leader in sophomore Jake Davis, who went 9 of 17 on his way to 23 points in addition to seven assists and three steals. Davis is crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Brett Conklin, who posted ten points.

Christian Fellowship has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season. As for North Missouri HomeSchool, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.
