Football Recap: McDonogh 35 Comes Up Short

McDonogh 35 entered their game against St. James on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Roneagles took a blow against the Wildcats, falling 40-8. Having soared to a lofty 41 points in the game before, the Roneagles couldn't push the score so high this time.

The loss was their first at home , dropping their record down to 4-3. As for St. James, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.

McDonogh 35 will face off against Carver Collegiate Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Rams' defense has only allowed 14 points per game this season, so the Roneagles' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for St. James, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Donaldsonville at 7:00 p.m.
