Baseball Recap: Altamont Has No Trouble Against Ramsay

On Tuesday, everything went the Altamont Knights's way against the Ramsay Rams as the Altamont Knights made off with a 14-4 victory. That ten run margin sets a new team best for the Knights this season.

The win made it two in a row for Altamont and bumps their season record up to 3-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.5 runs over those games. As for Ramsay, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Looking ahead, Altamont will be playing at home against Shelby County at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Altamont knows how to get runs on the board -- the team has finished with ten runs or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Shelby County likes a good challenge. As for Ramsay, they will head out on the road to take on Homewood at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
