Baseball Recap: Pittsburg Takes a Loss

Pittsburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Canadian Cougars, falling 20-8. One positive for the Panthers, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Pittsburg's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Canadian, their victory ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-7.

Looking ahead, Pittsburg will square off against Kiowa at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Canadian has already played their next contest (against Crowder), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
