Preview: Lindenwold Lions vs. Haddon Township Hawks
Lindenwold and Haddon Township are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2016, but not for long. The Lindenwold Lions will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Haddon Township Hawks at 7:00 p.m. Lindenwold knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past three matches -- so hopefully Haddon Township likes a good challenge.
Last Sunday, Lindenwold strolled past Mastery with points to spare, taking the game 56-38.
Meanwhile, Haddon Township's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their fifth straight loss. They fell 59-48 to King's Christian. While losing is never fun, Haddon Township can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 373rd, while King's Christian is ranked 84th).
Lindenwold's win bumped their record up to 4-8. As for Haddon Township, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-13 record this season.
Lindenwold took their win against Haddon Township when the teams last played back in February of 2020 by a conclusive 56-35. Does Lindenwold have another victory up their sleeve, or will Haddon Township turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
